{"id":825,"date":"2023-06-07T14:58:26","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T13:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.firstport.co.uk\/help-support\/who-looks-after-your-lifts\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T09:21:53","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T08:21:53","slug":"who-looks-after-your-lifts","status":"publish","type":"help-support","link":"https:\/\/www.firstport.co.uk\/help-support\/who-looks-after-your-lifts\/","title":{"rendered":"Who looks after your lifts?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-intro\">The maintenance and repair of a building\u2019s lift are one of the most important tasks we undertake and we are responsible for over 2800 lifts across the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">In our drive to improve our service standards and deliver value for money, our procurement team selected eight lift maintenance suppliers in September 2017 following a comprehensive tendering process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The contracts were awarded to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ace Lifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amalgamated lifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orona<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Otis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P.I.P<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stour Lifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pickerings Lifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ELA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ThyssenKrupp<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The lift contracts are fully comprehensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other lift contractors may be used for new build developments chosen by the developer, in general, these contracts typically are for one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The welfare and wellbeing of our residents is always our most important concern.
